A free street festival where music, market, art and street culture come together on one industrial square.
STOOK is Eindhoven's Biggest Blockparty: a free street festival where music, market, art and street culture come together on one industrial square. The stage sits on the Ketelhuisplein at Strijp-S, between the old Philips buildings, the Leidingstraat and the concrete flats of the square — where the city is raw and real.
We position STOOK as a deliberate counterweight to the pricey festival trend of today: accessible, local and non-profit. The festival is open to all ages and all budgets. There are fairground rides and a bouncy castle for the kids, while parents soak up the music from the terrace.
STOOK runs on a bottom-up approach. We set the frame, the local makers fill it in. The programming comes entirely from Eindhoven collectives, spread across multiple stages: from experimental hip-hop and punk to dnb, dub, bass, ukg, house and global sound. The Feelgood Market rounds out the grounds with market stalls and makers.
We want to fire up Eindhoven's nightlife and give local talent a serious stage. STOOK is organized together with local partners Biergarten and the Ketelhuis, with support from the city of Eindhoven.
No profit. No frills. Just the city, the street and the culture that comes with it.
